VAR 可以回答这样的问题:在某一段时间内,在 X% (如 99% )的把握下,银行至多会损失多少。如管理层在每个营业日的开始,可能会给风险管理部门提出这样的问题:在 99% 的把握内,一天内整个银行的损失至多有多大?
